- I know one can connect IDE hard drive to existing IDE cables on A4000 but
- not sure if it supports mode 3 or 4 of ATA-2 formats. According to the
- catalog for PC hard drives, ATA-2 HD's can theoretically go up to 16.6
- MB/s but my current mode 1 (2?) Conner HD only goes up to 1.5 MB/s.
- Thought about buying SCSI-II HD's but it can only go up to 10MB/s and it's
- generally expensive than IDE HD's. Also, there's no SCSI-III interface for
- Amiga anyway.
